Vocabulary

Week = all days from Monday through Sunday

Weekend = Saturday and Sunday; the weekend also can be referred to as the period when people don’t have to work anymore, so it could begin Friday night and end on Monday when you go to work. El fin de semana también se puede denominar el período en el que las personas ya no tienen que trabajar, por lo que podría comenzar el viernes por la noche y terminar el lunes cuando vaya a trabajar.

Lesson Tip!

When talking about what you’re doing on a specific day, you have to use the preposition “on” in English. In Spanish, it is different because you just say the day of the week.

What do you do on Monday and Saturday? / ¿Qué haces el lunes y el sábado?

Practice what you learned by posting a comment in the comments section answering the question.
