Parent Vocabulary in English:
In English, we use a variety of vocabulary to refer to our parents:
“Mom and Dad” (this is the most common version — most people will say this when talking about or to their parents)
“Mother and Father” (these are also common, but people don’t call there parents this because it is much more “formal”)
“Mommy and Daddy” (usually only children use these terms)
Story
During the summer, I like to take a couple days off from work and go to the beach. My family and I like to walk around the boardwalk and play the arcade games too.
Santa Monica is a city in downtown Los Angeles. One of its most popular attractions is the Santa Monica Pier and Pacific Park (which has a Ferris wheel!)
