“To do”
“To do” is used with most household chores.
I do the dishes.
I do the laundry.
I do the cleaning.
I do the washing.
I do chores.
I do the tasks.
I do the lawn mowing.
“To make”
“To make” is used with the bed and meals.
I make the bed.
I make breakfast.
I make dinner.
